The automatic directors are chosen by RADIO_FILL_DIRECTOR_BACKEND, a rotation that alternates each brief: Claude Code (Fable 5.1, high effort) and Codex CLI (GPT-6 Astra, medium effort) by default, with the grok CLI, ChatGPT (chatgpt) and MiniMax M3 (minimax) as named options. Both radio lanes share the rotation unless RADIO_FILL_MINIMAX_DIRECTOR_BACKEND says otherwise. Directors receive bounded music briefs and catalogue facts—not repository code, credentials or browser session data. Admins see which director wrote a song as a CC, CX or GK mark in the player. ChatGPT remains an optional director: it prefers Pro, moves to Advanced with Extra High when Pro allowance is exhausted, and keeps request-protection cooldowns isolated to the subscription path. Each account signs in on its own ChatGPT home screen; a duplicate ChatGPT Project is not required.

Suno automatic lane

Radio alternates Suno and MiniMax music-3.0 attempts at a 50/50 mix. Each Suno turn starts with a fresh Pro-first premium brief, automatically uses Advanced Extra High when the Pro allowance is reached, returns through FlowState mastering, and must pass the complete-song listener gate. Only one Suno generation runs at a time. The form below remains available for a manual recovery import.
